Introduction: No Need for an Explanation

No need for grammar is more like it, one of my friends went through and checked my grammar. He found a couple dozen little errors and a couple of big ones too, but then again I worked through this while dealing with IM's and ICQ messages constantly so there were some little errors and missing letters along with the much more common odd phrasing or cultural details I left out.I actually did better than I thought though.

Episode 1: No Need for Discussion

It starts out with a nice monologue from Ryoko, then it pans to a space battle between a black and red ship, both get caught up in earth's gravity and crash. Tenchi sees the ships fall to the ground, and rushes off to see what fell from the sky. He finds Ryoko unconscious and revives her with a splash of water. Ryoko then tells Tenchi she is being pursued by a space pirate. Their conversation is cut short by the space pirate in a Mecca suit. Tenchi and Ryoko run until they are cornered on a cliff when right when they seem the most doomed the space pirate trips on a can and can't stand back up.
Tenchi and Ryoko run back to Tenchi's house and are confronted by his Father and Grandfather. They actually believe Ryoko's story about how she is from space. After trying to set up defenses (nailing up boards on the windows), Tenchi and Ryoko are in his room, Ryoko playing video games, and Tenchi is trying to study. The doorbell rings, Tenchi answers it and the space pirate is at the door. Chase ensues, they run up the hill and over to the shrine his grandfather tends. The space pirate's Mecca suit is destroyed and you find out that the person in the Mecca suit is none other than a galaxy police detective named Mihoshi. Mihoshi proves that Ryoko is the pirate not her and an angry Ryoko chases Tenchi and Mihoshi down the hill and along the same path. After they fall of the roof Mihoshi can't get up and Tenchi stands up to Ryoko. Rather than kill Tenchi Ryoko starts laughing and tells Tenchi the chase was a joke.
It is made obvious that neither of them can or would leave so both Mihoshi and Ryoko are stuck staying at the Masaki Household for a while.

Episode 2: No Need for a Princess

Never giving up, the semi competent Mihoshi manages to activate her emergency beacon to call for help. The call is received by Ayeka, the first princess of planet Jurai. Ayeka decides she has enough time for a short diversion to save whoever it is in distress. When she arrives her unpleasant history with Ryoko surfaces, this happens all throughout the series and I think that both of them are making up most of it or their memory has warped it to suit them.
After fighting with Ryoko, verbally, Ayeka talks to the grandfather and then Tenchi and her go on a walk. After walking for a while something "clicks" between Ayeka and Tenchi and they fall in love, creating a triangle relationship because Ryoko also has feelings for Tenchi, but Tenchi never really seems to come out and say that he loves either of them.
When Preparing to leave earth, with Mihoshi clinging to her Ayeka was forced to take her aboard Ryo-Oh (her space ship) along with her wooden cylindrical guardians Azaka and Kamidake. Ayeka challenges Ryoko to a duel to the death, Ryoko calls Ryo-Oki and drags Tenchi into space with her. after some combat and verbal abuse heaped on each other they fight until both ships ram each other and go plummeting into earths atmosphere. Ayeka is now also trapped on earth along with her guardians and both ships are a the bottom of the lake.

Episode 3: No Need for Worries

Ayeka's younger Sister Sasami comes to save Ayeka, and takes a short vacation for herself before she heads back to Jurai. During that stay Ryoko convinces everyone in the house that she is pregnant with Tenchi's child. Then she exits and returns with a black egg. Ayeka tries to expose the egg as a fake and they start fighting and the egg falls to the ground and shatters. Out pops a bunny/cat mix with black fur and a red stone set on it's forehead. Tenchi is making strong protests that are totally ignored all the while, then his father praises him, and it is hilarious.
Ryoko name the bunny/cat (cabbit) Ryo-Oki and reveals it is her spaceship, not her child. Very soon after Sasami feeds some carrots to Ryo-Oki and starts an ongoing fixation throughout the series. After a little chaos Sasami, Ayeka, and Mihoshi prepare to leave. Sasami convinces Ryoko to escort them out of earths atmosphere in Ryo-Oki. After having Ryo-Oki transform into a huge crystalline spaceship and follow up into space. In orbit after a long good bye between Ayeka and Tenchi Sasami pulls a carrot out of her blouse and Ryo-Oki notices it. All the consoles start to turn into little flying Ryo-Oki heads and lots of view screens with an extreme zoom on the carrot pop up. Ryo-Oki slams into Sasami's ship and the screen fades to black. Now Sasami, Ayeka, and Mihoshi are stranded again and Ryo-Oki is sitting bandaged up eating a carrot. Life goes on just like it was only with Sasami along for the ride.

Episode 4: No Need for Monsters

Ryoko finds out about the mysterious cave the shrine was built around and decides she wants to explore it. After failing to convince any of the others to go with her she sneaks up on Tenchi and ties him up. Ryoko then drags Tenchi into the cave and tells him she considers this a "date", after exploring the main tunnel they find a huge cavern. In the middle there's a weird stone that temporarily holds Tenchi's interest until Ryoko actually literally yanks it back to her. Ryoko begins to try to seduce Tenchi and then Ayeka, Sasami and Mihoshi burst in.
Ayeka starts to fight with Ryoko and ayeka is using the power of Jurai against Ryoko (little electrified wood blocks that phase into place and zap her) and it escalates to the point that Ryoko actually picks up and throws the huge boulder in the center of the chamber at Ayeka. The boulder misses and shatters, and a strange light begins to chase the Tenchi and gang out of the cave and around the shrine.
After running for their lives the grandfather tell the light to stop and it stops, lands and reveals Washu, a genius scientist with a 12 year olds body and an extreme ego. After hearing the praises from the chibi washu puppets that pop up Washu turns Ryoko into a Kappa, a little water sprite that looks a lot like a frog, for throwing her (in the boulder). Ayeka calls her "silly" and Washu does the same to her, Mihoshi and Sasami think that the Kappa are "so cute" and laugh at them. Tenchi introduces himself to Washu, who insists on being called "little Washu" and the screen fades out. After getting settled in Washu sets up an alternate dimension in the storage closet to use as her lab and decides she has to catch up on inventing after being imprisoned for 700 years.

Episode 5: No Need for Partners

Mihoshi's partner in the Galaxy Police Kiyone is in mourning of Mihoshi, but is also enjoying a life free of the continual problems that Mihoshi manages to create. This brief period of peace and quiet for Kiyone is hatred by the sudden news that Mihoshi just may still be alive. Kiyone reluctantly heads off in the Yagami to track down her partner. Kiyone goes to Tenchi's house because her scans say Mihoshi is dead ahead and Tenchi directs a rather shocked Kiyone to a sleeping Mihoshi. Kiyone is rather unimpressed to see her partner alive and well but Mihoshi proves her total lack of thought when speaking by saying that she missed Kiyone so much she couldn't sleep at night, when Mihoshi had been sleeping out on the deck right then.
Mihoshi takes Kiyone inside to introduce her to everyone and Kiyone is really shocked that there is the space pirate, Ryoko, two missing princesses, Ayeka and Sasami, and a "legendary mad scientist", Washu, all living under the same roof. Kiyone starts to challenge Ryoko to a duel but before they fight the screen fades out and fades in at everyone eating lunch. After a few minutes of calm peaceful eating and jokes Kiyone realizes that she got distracted and demands that Ryoko fight her.
Ryoko and Kiyone are at least evenly matched, and the battle pitches back and forth but finally it looks like Ryoko is winning when Kiyone calls Yagami and has Mihoshi suit up in a battle Mecca. Rather than attack Ryoko Mihoshi loses control and crashes into the lake. Kiyone recovers and starts fighting against Ryoko again and Ayeka has Azaka and Kamidake trap Ryoko in a force field . Now that Kiyone has almost won she starts to read Ryoko her rights when suddenly Mihoshi swoops in and smashes into Azaka and Kamidake, effectively disabling them. Ryoko escapes and Kiyone gives up. Kiyone and Mihoshi prepare to leave the earth and just as they are pulling away from earth in Yagami they get a call and are told to stay on earth and maintain the long deserted post in the Sol system.

Episode 6: No Need for Resident Officers

Kiyone and Mihoshi are stuck living on earth, and Kiyone decides that instead of imposing on the Masaki family that Mihoshi and Her need to move out. They rent a small apartment and get part time jobs to make enough money to cover their cost of living on earth. This is seems somewhat odd until you think about how many banks on earth will accept interstellar currency, so the requirement for part time jobs on the side actually does make sense. Kiyone has no problems coping at whatever job they are given but Mihoshi is continually getting both of them fired by, well by being Mihoshi.
Kiyone really tries to cope with Mihoshi and is really patient with her, despite the fact that Kiyone was on the fast track to success until Mihoshi entered her life and started to destroy every opportunity that Kiyone had for promotion. Mihoshi is so childlike that no matter how hard she tries Kiyone can't refuse her. Both Mihoshi and Kiyone seem to enjoy singing Karoke together, and their lifestyle is rushed and overworked but still has it's brief moments of peace and quiet they enjoy.

Episode 7: No Need for a Carnival

This episode is a quiet diversion off of the normal pattern of life, it is a more relaxed episode than normal. The Masaki shrine is having a carnival and everyone is attending it. Tenchi takes Sasami out to see it, and all of the  other members of the Tenchi cast have their own booth of one kind or another. First Tenchi and Sasami go to a goldfish scooper and then they go to Ryoko's version that was probably constructed with the aid of Washu. It looks empty but when Tenchi looks into the depths he is approached by "The Big Fish" as it deems itself. Ryoko's booth is shut down a short time later. Ryoko tries various other booths that also fail. Ayeka has a shooting gallery that features little Ryoko dolls that you can shoot with corks. Ayeka gets a little too far into shooting these. . .
Kiyone and Mihoshi first have a Fried noodle booth, but have to shut down because Ryo-Ohki ate all of the carrots. Tenchi and Sasami then visit Washu's fun house and get a tour of the Seven worst hells. After barely surviving that experience they see Ryoko and Ayeka get into a fight because Ryoko started up a shooting gallery right next to hers with little Ayeka dolls as targets and then the two of the compare vastly different childhood memories again. The carnival comes to a screeching halt after Mihoshi uses a cotton candy machine made by Washu and floods the park in cotton candy. In the end Sasami looks back on the day and decides she enjoyed it.

Episode 8: No Need for a Genius

The significance of Washu in the series finally is raised above an eccentric side character in this episode, she stands out as a very eccentric character that begins to interact more with the Tenchi gang. Washu has created a mechanical clone of herself that she has named Mecca Washu. Washu is preparing to imput her memories through a genetic process when Mihoshi barges in and looks around and sticks her head into the tube that the mind transfer takes place and looks around. After shooing her out Washu initiates the mind transfer and Mecca Washu is finished. But it is acting a little odd, as a matter of fact it is acting like Mihoshi. Washu investigates the tube and sees a single blond hair that must've made the device imput Mihoshi's genetic mind data instead of Washu's. Big problem for Tenchi and gang.
Mecca Washu gets the Idea that she needs to stop the robbery she hears about  on the news and Tenchi and Washu try to stop her from going into the city. Mecca Washu has a few built in weapons because Washu was planning for the worst. After a battle that only results in the destruction of innocent trees and carrots Kiyone shows up because Mihoshi is late coming back, and uses her knowledge of Mihoshi's mannerisms to get close enough to switch Mecca Washu off. In the end Washu tries to put her mind data in Mecca Washu, and gives up after giving Mecca Washu Ryo-Oki's mind data.

Episode 9: No Need for Memories

This is perhaps one of the calmest episodes in Tenchi Muyo!. It is the first time it has snowed at the Masaki Shrine in years and everyone reacts differently to the snow. Sasami enjoys running around in the snow and she makes giant snowmen out of Azaka and Kamidake. The rest of the gang stays inside and tries to keep warm. Soon everyone but Tenchi, Sasami and Ryo-Oki are, well, drunk. Ryoko is because she really likes sake, Ayeka drank some to keep Ryoko from offering it to tenchi, and that much was too much for her, and Tenchi's father and Grandfather are only somewhat drunk and are talking to each other about life in general.
Tenchi is both remembering something and having dizzy spells throughout the episode, and Ayeka's ship, Ryo-Oh has begun to regenerate itself in tree form. Tenchi faints and Sasami is the only one who is conscious and able to help him, she runs out across the frozen lake and takes some of Ryo-Oh's sap to heal Tenchi at the suggestion of Azaka and Kamidake. Tenchi is healed and he remembers that the next day is the anniversary of his mother's death. This is why he kept having inklings of memories because of the snow. The next mention of Atchika is not until Tenchi Muyo! in Love, the first Tenchi Movie which directly follows the last episode of Tenchi Muyo! TV.

Episode 10: No Need for an Arch Rival

If you were observant enough to think about anyone coming to hunt down Ryoko, now is when it happens.  Nagi, the "best bounty hunter in the universe", and this is not a self claimed title, comes to collect on her arch rival Ryoko's head. Nagi comes off more villainously than Ryoko does, she is a cold professional that always gets her target. Ryoko was the first and only person to escape Nagi, and Nagi is trying to make sure that she still has a perfect record. Nagi is armed with an energy sword that can also fire energy bolts and an energy whip, unlike Ryoko she seems to depend on external power instead of internal power. Nagi has a ship named Ken-Ohki that is a white version of Ryo-Ohki.
the episode starts with Nagi finding out about Ryoko on earth, and then Ken-Ohki being found in the living room. After calming both of the Cabbits down Mihoshi feed Ken-Ohki a carrot, he becomes equally carrot crazed. Ken-Ohki and Ryo-Ohki have a romantic moment in which both of them fall in love with each other, this leads to problems later though. Ken-Ohki sees Ryoko and scampers off, and Ryoko chases him until Nagi Tells Ryoko that if she wants to see Tenchi again then she must fight her on Venus.
After a short space battle that ends when Ken-Ohki and Ryo-Ohki refuse to fire on one another. Nagi and Ryoko agree to settle their problem on ground and Washu volunteers to make the battleground. Washu make a small bubble of breathable atmosphere (only needed for some cast members, Ryoko can survive in the vacuum of space and I imagine that others may be similarly adapted). After a battle it looks like Nagi is winning until Ayeka starts to try to rescue Tenchi from where Nagi had him contained. Ryoko takes the momentary distraction to blast Nagi with an energy bolt that knocked her into one of the Old west buildings that Washu had set up and knocking it down. Nagi is far from finished and Ryo-Oki convinces Ryoko to spare Nagi  for Ken-Ohki's sake.

Episode 11, 12 and 13: Time Travel and Space Adventures

The Midpoint of Tenchi Muyo and the strangest of all the tapes. Washu has built a machine that lets you create your own alternate dimensions through cause and effect. Despite Washu's warning Ryoko creeps into the lab at night and starts to make her own dimension for just her and Tenchi. All the other Girls burst in and try to stop her and make their own dimension, their fight escalates and the machine begins to overload. Everyone else walks in to see what is happening. She tries to stop it but it is too late the girls made the machine go completely nuts and everyone is sent adrift in alternate space/time continuums.
I will not go over all of the dimensions, it would lack the effect of anything else that I could possibly say. All are funny in their own way and it really just sticks the Tenchi Gang into different situations that they cope with. In the ending in Ryoko's reality Washu confronts Ryoko and Tenchi and tells Ryoko to return home Ryoko herself must undo what she did, and this goes over none too well with Ryoko. After some strong personal struggle Ryoko agrees and Promises Tenchi she will take him on a real journey someday. . .

Episode 14: No Need  for Rebellion

This episode Marks the beginning of the second Half of Tenchi Muyo! TV. The first half was getting to know the characters and how they are connected to one another, now this is really the larger plot. The episode begins with the disappearance of all the cast but Tenchi, Katsuhito, and Ryo-Ohki, and Tenchi's house. After all of them agree they have no clue what happened a capsule falls from the sky counting Mihoshi, Washu, Nobouki, and Tenchi's house which has been compressed. Washu explains that Ayeka was charged with treason and Sasami declared an accomplice were taken away by the Jurian military. Ryoko, being an infamous space pirate was also taken away. And the house and Azaka and Kamidake were reduced to portable sizes.
Tenchi, Washu and Kiyone work together on bailing out Ayeka Sasami and Ryoko. they use Yagami to get in close to the Jurian ship, and then board it using a doorway that open about sixty meters in front of the frame, essentially folding space, one of Washu's newest inventions. When aboard Katsuhito starts to lead the way, just a little odd, and brings them to the brig. After trying to break the Force Field with no avail Washu has Ryo-Ohki transform and destroy a majority of the ship. They then are forced to flee the remaining portion of the ship that pursues them and they are forced to travel away from earth, luckily Nobouki brought along the house and they set up camp in the cargo hold.

Episode 15: No Need  for Escape

Kiyone starts to pack up all her earthly possessions (Mihoshi and Kiyone did not flee the earth with the other) and tells Mihoshi she finally got the promotion she needed and is going back to GP HQ. Mihoshi starts to pack her belongings as well. After Kiyone explains that only she got a promotion Mihoshi starts trying to stop kiyone from leaving and breaks her suitcase.
At GP HQ Kiyone goes into her interview, and Mihoshi goes to the Cafeteria, Mihoshi tagged along because she needed Yagami back on earth. after Kiyone is done hearing the interview Mihoshi stumbles in and hears too much of the plans concerning the new Emperor of Jurai, the legendary Warrior Yosho and the GP decide to capture both Mihoshi and Kiyone after Mihoshi runs away. Kiyone is cornered and right when she seems doomed she is saved by Mihoshi who actually did something right on the first try.
Ryo-Ohki is under heavy attack by the GP and Mihoshi and Kiyone decide to try to help them, and succeed in driving away the GP with two awesome torpedoes. In the end all the cast Are on Yagami and Ryo-Ohki is exhausted. The Gang moves into the cargo hold and then decompresses the house and Azaka and Kamidake.

Episode 16: No Need  for Hiding

The Tenchi gang is forced to set up a restaurant to pay for fuel and repairs to the Yagami and the whole gang pitches in. The bar is simple and pretty basic. It is uneventful except for Nagi's visit. Nagi doesn't notice ryoko but she has a drink and pays the ridiculous bill for one drink, proving she is ruthless but law abiding. Ryoko and Ayeka trade another set of shockingly different childhood memories and that is pretty much it.
After the bar is blown up, thanks to Mihoshi leaving the gas on, they are forced to flee the planet and actually are saved by Nagi, because she doesn't want Ryoko dead before she can kill her. They flee and while Yagami is in the clear at the end of the episode they sing Karoke on the Karoke set that Ryoko had bought before they had run out of money the first time.

Episode 17: No Need  for Hunger

When the whole Tenchi Gang is heading to buy food the Yagami's engine breaks down. Ryoko and Ryo-Ohki steal all of the remaining food and eat it. With no other options Tenchi  sends Ryoko out to get food alone with most of their money. Washu starts to work on repairing the engines, and every time she almost succeeds Mihoshi manages to break whatever work she has finished so far.
Ryoko decides to go out on a holiday instead of buying food and she starts out with some Sake, and actually ties up Ryo-Ohki to get rid of the nagging to actually enjoy the little outing. Ryoko spends all of the money on food, gambling and a stay at a Luxury hotel. After running out of money Ryoko robs a bank of Jurai and is forced to flee back to the Yagami. When she returns, Washu has just fixed the engine and they flee the GP pursuit force. The end of this episode just kind of trails off. . .

Episode 18: No Need  for a Ghost

The Yagami has entered the Salgassou thanks to the inept piloting of Mihoshi. The Salgassou is a ship graveyard that makes the ships that enter it lose all power and drift aimlessly. A strange force moves through the Yagami, and then while they are sleeping a young girl comes through Sasami's Mirror. The girl is about Sasami's age ad she is named Mirei. Sasami and Mirei travel through mirrors back to Mirei's ship, Mirei is a ghost that lives on an abandoned luxury liner. They have fun together and visit some of Sasami's happiest memories.
The rest of them go hunting on the ship that Sasami went to both to find Sasami, and because Washu wants a sample of whatever the life form is. After some looking around unsuccessfully and being scared and suckered by Sasami and Mirei, they give up for they day and head back. Later on when discussing their failure Sasami returns to the Yagami and somehow restores power. Yagami heads out and The end shows Mirei in a Picture next to Sasami, having her spirit finally rest in peace.

Episode 19: No Need  for Runaways

The Yagami is hijacked by some punks while Tenchi and gang are eating at a restaurant, Ayeka and Sasami insist on manners and are left behind by a rushed group that is chasing Yagami into the horizon. Sasami and Ayeka are stuck washing dishes at the restaurant to pay for their tab. Meanwhile The gang in Ryo-Ohki is chasing down the Yagami.
The two Punks who hijacked Yagami are now being pursued by a heavy GP fleet trying to apprehend princess Ayeka and they quickly learn they bit off way more than they can chew this time. After a long chase the Tenchi gang boards the Yagami right before it hits a supernova and Washu calculates a way to slingshot using the supernova's gravity and escape. Tenchi and Gang then return to the restaurant and pick up Ayeka and Sasami.

Episode 20: No Need  for Swimsuits

The Tenchi Gang is on a resort planet running a beach side refreshment stand to pay for the repairs to Yagami. They are having little success in making money which is no surprise because they ate all of the shaved ice already. After a brief scuffle Ryoko and Ayeka yet again exchange vastly different childhood memories. Nagi then comes up to the bar to buy a drink and sees Ryoko. Nagi challenges Ryoko to a duel but is put off by the announcement of a swimsuit contest with a prize of 1 million Jurai (money, not people). Ryoko tells Nagi to wait until after the competition.
When everyone else is preparing for the competition Ryo-Ohki and Ken-Ohki spend a romantic moment on the shore. After getting Ready for the contest all the girls but Sasami and Washu enter. The contest has almost everyone evenly matched until Nagi enters and wins the contest, but instead of giving up Ryoko steals the prize and escapes in the newly repaired Yagami. Washu is on the bridge of Yagami yelling at Ryoko because she still needs to finish up the repairs. Tenchi and co. run off to catch Ryoko in Ryo-Ohki. After they meet back up Ayeka starts to fight with Ryoko over who deserves the prize money more.

Episode 21: No Need  for a Checkpoint

When preparing to enter Jurai territory Tenchi and gang must disguise themselves to get through a security checkpoint. The only way to do so was to disguise themselves as a small school, more accurately a small all girls school. Everyone but Tenchi deals well with this, Nobouki and Katsuhito are Administration, and the rest are students or lower positions. They are getting along fine until Mihoshi had forgotten to leave he GP pistol in the ship and carries it through the Jurian version of a metal detector.
This causes a small panic followed by a capture order, and Sasami is knocked unconscious but is saved. The whole gang manages to escape aided by the hidden influence of Sasami's uncle that she briefly remembers. The gang escapes in a Purple Yagami, yes they even disguised the Yagami. They flee in a harried chase from the space station.

Episode 22: No Need  for Knights

The Yagami is cornered with nowhere to go when suddenly Katsuhito tells Kiyone to make a course correction that leads to a sanctuary. After landing and taking a hike to an unknown destination led by Katsuhito they arrive at an odd grove with a large tree in the middle and the two legendary knights, Azaka and Kamidake. The guardians were only constructed with the personality of these legendary knights that have been locked in stasis until a time of chaos.
Yosho uses the power of Jurai to revive the original knights, but it requires the Guardians to go off line and surrender their personalities back to the originals. Azaka and Kamidake are resurrected and Katsuhito reveals that he is really the legendary warrior Yosho. This also opens up a myriad of possibilities for Tenchi who is the true successor to the throne of Jurai, even more so than Ayeka.

Episode 23: No Need  for Karma

After the shocking revelations that are made in episode 22 everyone heads to the old palace of Jurai to hide and rest. Yosho is confronted by Kagato, the pretender to the throne of Jurai. After revealing the Tenchi Ken, a Jurian sword that converts jurai power into a blade, Yosho fights Kagato and manages to hold his own against him. Kagato was exiled by Yosho for being too power hungry and ruthless, killing anyone who stood between him and power. Kagato used his power to pose as Yosho and take the throne of Jurai. This sets the stage for the final battle. Yosho uses his most powerful, and dangerous attack against Kagato that Kagato deflects but it injures Yosho. Ryoko tries to save Yosho but Kagato seriously injures her. After the knights show up along with Tenchi Kagato captures Ayeka and flees.
The Jurian military attacks and drives the Yagami out into the open and they are saved by Nagi because she wants to kill Ryoko before anybody else does. Nagi is temporarily stuck on the Yagami and refuses to fight Ryoko in her weakened condition.

Episode 24: No Need  for Ryoko

Seeing no other choice than to fight Kagato on his own terms Tenchi decides to go to the Palace of Jurai and save Ayeka. Ryoko is still injured and decides that she will take Tenchi to the palace of Jurai in Ryo-Ohki. Nagi actually helps Ryoko by having Ken-Ohki pose as a decoy to lead the army away from Ryoko. Despite Nagi's ploy there are still the planetary defenses of Jurai to deal with. The whole way along Ryoko is straining against an injury that she shouldn't even be moving with. She and Tenchi part with a brief and almost tearless good bye, after Tenchi leaves to save Ayeka Ryoko collapses in a mix of grief and pain. She gets back aboard Ryo-Ohki she loses conciseness and you see blood flowing down her arm and hear a very worried Ryo-Ohki outside the ship, then it fades to black.

Episode 25 No Need  for a Showdown

The final battle between Tenchi and Kagato is here, and it is separated by a few minor battles that include Nagi making short work of some fairly massive fleets, and the Yagami going down. As Tenchi and the knights approach the throne room they are attacked by knights of modern Jurai that are loyal to Kagato. Azaka and Kamidake are occupied and only Tenchi makes it to the throne room. Azaka and Kamidake finish off their opponents but are too weak to continue on to the throne room. Tenchi is almost defeated by Kagato, but Ayeka intercedes with her Jurai power, only to be quickly disabled by Kagato. I won't say how, but Tenchi finds the true Jurai power within himself and he manages to defeat Kagato and the conflict is over.

Episode 26: No Need  for a Conclusion

This episode has no story but it ties up all the loose ends, and tells what happens to everyone. I won't spoil the ending of the series, I'll just say it is one big happily ever after.
